Clent Hills camping and caravanning site was a great halfway point between our trip to River Dart Country Park and our home back in Yorkshire. It was quite different to our previous destination, but provided a good base to explore the West Midlands – somewhere where we aren’t familiar with. We visited in August 2016.
Words cannot adequately describe my love for the River Dart Country Park in Devon as a fantastic family holiday destination. It is the most expensive camp site we have ever visited and it was worth every penny. We stayed here in August 2016.
The Camping and Caravanning Club asked us to try out one of their club sites. The club, with over 250,000 households as members, own over 100 camp sites in the UK, and certify over 1,600 more. It is a lot smaller than it looks on the website. There are a couple of large caravan fields with statics and tourers, and a touring field for caravans and tents. There are also some wooden camping pods.
