We visit about once a year and absolutely love it. It has rides and attractions for children and their adult companions, including a fort adventure playground, a tractor ride around an animatronic farmyard, an exciting (for small children anyway) Robin Hood train ride, and a huge indoor soft play area. There are also pedal go-karts, an outdoor splash beach (take your swimmies if it’s a nice day), and a little collection of fairy-tale houses to explore.
The free car park is massive, and entrance is £11 per person over two-years old (under 2’s are free).
Food is available from the various snack bars, but it’s worth taking a pack-up as the queues can get quite long when it’s busy.

Sundown Adventureland is one of those places that could be better advertised but seems to be busy enough without it. We travel for over an hour to get there and it is well worth the trip. We have also been at Christmas when Santa is in residence.
The park is all one level and we have no trouble getting our double buggy round it.
Trip length – all day. You can easily spend five hours in there and not do everything.
