The Sagas of Noggin the Nog, a live stage show for families is doing a mini-tour of Britain. So far, the Nogs have left their native Brighton and performed in Wimbledon, Buxton, Hull, and Peterborough. More tour dates for 2016 are yet to be announced.
We sent Claire and her son Adam to catch it at the wonderful Hull Truck Theatre. This is what Claire had to say
I hadn’t heard of the original stories myself so was not really sure what to expect.
It was very enjoyable and clever how the whole play was carried out by just four men and some very clever puppets. My son thoroughly enjoyed it too and he giggled throughout.
There were lots of little jokes thrown in and all the actors were very enthusiastic and good with the audience. I’d recommend it thoroughly, and it was a great way of spending an afternoon with my son and some good light-humoured entertainment to brighten up a dull autumnal day.
Thank you Claire for checking out The Sagas of Noggin the Nog for us. Here are some of her photos.

Disclosure – Claire and her son attended the opening night on press tickets
Just the name Noggin The Nog sounds like fun. It does sound like a fun way to spend an afternoon.
xx
The name always makes me chuckle a bit too!
This looks like a really fun play to enjoy with the children. I hope it comes to near us.
There are UK wide dates but they are quite limited. There is more info on their website I think.
