#Fridayat11 – A Google+ Hangout

#Fridayat11

You may or may not have noticed that I have been taking part, when I can, in blogger chat #Fridayat11. This is a Google+ hangout which takes place, funnily enough, every Friday at 11am.

I join fellow bloggers Aly of Bug, Bird, and Bee, Penny of Being Mrs C, Joy of PinkOddy, Helen of KiddyCharts, and others to talk about lots of random subjects. We have discussed charity events, parenting, old toys, illnesses, and various other nonsense. It’s very good fun for us doing it, and we hope it comes across to those watching too.

#Fridayat11

You can watch live via Google+. If you have a Google+ account, then you can go to the Hangouts on Air tab at 11am on a Friday and scroll through the live chats. You can even ask us a question using the Q&A feature. Please leave us a comment or two so that we know that someone, somewhere is watching.

If you can’t watch live, or are not familiar with Google+, you can watch later on YouTube. Search for #Fridayat11, or have a look at my playlist. I add all the videos to it as soon as I remember.

We have been doing #Fridayat11 for a few weeks now and think we are doing something a little bit different. We’re moving outside the confines of our bloggy-walls, and embracing new networks such as Google+. We believe we might even have one or two regular viewers, which is awesome.

We are using video to reach out beyond our blogs, and working as a team to try and produce something at least worth watching. We’d love a nomination in the Video category in the Brilliance in Blogging Awards. To nominate us, please visit http://www.britmums.com/awards/, click on the “Nominate your favourites” button and enter our details under the video category. As we don’t really have a central blog, just put #Fridayat11 where it lets you, use this blog’s url if need be, and my twitter ID is @daysoutblog

While you’re there, you could also fill out the Travel category with the details of your favourite travel blog. Whatever that is. Just saying. You know, if you want to.

So if you’re around on a Friday at 11, then come and watch Fridayat11. You can see me in all my glory, and meet some other brilliant bloggers you may not have met yet.

Who’s coming?
