SJ Works have kindly sent me a Smart Phone First Aid Kit for my bicycle to try out. It’s a first aid kit which attaches to my bike and also has a pouch for my phone. It’s a good addition to our cycling kit. Luckily, we’ve not needed it so far this year, but I look forward to getting out and about on my bike in the new year where hopefully, I won’t need it either. But better safe than sorry!

Review: Helly Hansen Duffel Bag 30litre from Marine Superstore
You know you’re a mum of girls when every decent bag, no matter the style, gets snaffled and you end up having to lug your bits around in a Tesco bag for life. My good travel bag mysteriously vanished last year only to turn up with daughter number 1’s clothes in it on holiday. Marine Superstore understand my plight, and they have very kindly sent me a Helly Hansen Duffel Bag 30l. Thank you!
Review: OUTXE Rugged Power Bank 20000mAh
OUTXE have sent us an OUTXE Rugged Power Bank to help us on our travels and we’ve spent the last few weeks trying it out. I have to say that this is not on the compact side when it comes to power banks, but its size and weight is representative of the power it can hold. This is more than the single-charge lightweight power bank you keep in your handbag just in case. I never really did girly, which is a good job!
Travel product: Lava Brightsounds 2
We were sent a Lava Brightsounds 2 to play with while on our camping trip to Andrewshayes Holiday Park – it’s a 3-in-1 piece of travel kit, and we found it very useful. Thanks to Lava Accessories for sending it to us. It is said to be “one of the best gadgets you’ll take camping this year” and it was certainly true for us!
Review: Trespass Wishful girls waterproof jacket
Trespass have sent us a Wishful girls jacket to test. So far, so good!
It ticks all my boxes in terms of being warm, waterproof, and very practical. It ticks all my seven-year old’s boxes in terms of being pink. To her, the pink is very important. Back in my day *feels old* there was often a compromise to be made between practicalities and style. Not with this one. My very style-conscious daughter likes this jacket very much. Continue reading
Review: I Spy books from Michelin
I have been sent these little I Spy books to review. To be honest, they’re not much good to me – I was sent them for Cambridge and the Isle of Wight, two places I’m nowhere near – so we haven’t tested them in action, but I can see that they would be fabulous for anyone thinking of going somewhere new and wanting to find all the good spots. Review: Usborne Spotter’s Cards – 50 Things to Spot in London
We LOVE London. Well, I love London. I’m working on the children. I bought them a pack of spotters cards from Usborne and they are really helping London come alive. I bought them for the children but, to be honest, the 50 Things to Spot in London pack is useful for adults too.

Review: Lunch Bag from the Beverage Bag Company
Review: Blurb photo books
As another year is over, I have been looking back on all the fantastic things we’ve done as a family in 2012. I have LOADS of photos and, as time ticks by, I am struggling to remember the where/when/what of each and every one.
