Trespass have sent us a Wishful girls jacket to test. So far, so good!
It ticks all my boxes in terms of being warm, waterproof, and very practical. It ticks all my seven-year old’s boxes in terms of being pink. To her, the pink is very important. Back in my day *feels old* there was often a compromise to be made between practicalities and style. Not with this one. My very style-conscious daughter likes this jacket very much.

What do you think?
The coat has already been on a few adventures. A couple of weeks ago we tested it out at a local scarecrow festival.
Then we took it to a farm park, and did a spot of modelling. THIS is why we are not fashion bloggers to be honest. Never, ever work with children or animals!
It’s even great for the city. Here we are before a quick stop at The National Gallery in London. Looking good!
If you need something stylish for an exclusive event in a London telephone box, then we have just the jacket for you!

I really like this jacket as it is warm and waterproof and very good quality. It is a little too big for her, which is great and she will grow into it. It will last her a couple of years I imagine, and should still be good for passing down. I have a Trespass jacket myself and I love it.
For me, practicalities win every time, but for my fashion-loving 7-year old, style is hugely important. She chose this jacket herself and is very pleased with it. She uses it for school too, and it will be a great choice for when we visit the notoriously rainy Lake District later this summer. Watch out for more pics as we go on our travels.
